Cut-Out Animation Process

 Debrief

To make a cut-out animation including lip syncing, with the theme sea shanty.


Planning

The Sea Shanty we chose to lip sync and animate to is Derby Ram from Assassin's Creed IV.

We then moved onto creating characters and backgrounds. Here are the following in order of who made them.

Fiona

Tyron

Michael

Katie


Storyboard

After choosing the song and creating our characters, Tyron had drawn out the rough storyboard below for us to follow during filming. 


Filming

After printing off our characters in A3 we had decided to blue screen the filming process as the backgrounds could not be printed big enough.

Editing

After filming, the footage was taken by Fiona who was in charge of putting the backgrounds into our footage with blue screening.
Then it went over to Tyron, who put in the soundtrack to match up with the animation lip syncing.
